MV: Hello, my name is Mihai Valeriu Burtescu, I am 46 years old and I live in Torrejón de Ardoz, Madrid. I train at home and at parks. I love outdoor training. IMF: How and when did you start training with a mace? MV: I started macelifting in 2018, when I attended a course organized by Gastón Giorlando and Sandra Carbonell. I fell in love with the mace and it's been part of my life since then. IMF: What do you like most about Macelifting? MV: It is a sport that trains strength, balance and power. Qualities you need as an athlete and as a common person. IMF: What tips would you give to new macelifters who want to start practicing the sport?
