1st World Championship Macelifting & Bulavalifting October 22nd Antequera (Málaga) Spain

 

1st French Open of Macelifting & Bulavalifting IMF World Records

  Last Saturday was held the "Open de France de Macelifting and Bulavalifting" with IMF records issued by the International Macelifting Federation with the collaboration of FFForce in Paris - France. 14 macelifters representing four countries (France, Belgium, USA and Spain) and four teams (El Templo, Red Moskitos, Yoksuthaï and Mace Pro) participated. The macelifters Nicolas and Karl moved up a category in the Classic Biathlon, congratulations! And the macelifters Carmen, Jerome, Jean, Raphael, Juan Francisco, Marcel, Karl, Rafael, Pascal, Pablo, Hanna, Sandra & Gaston achieved the world records they had set themselves (Juan Francisco also moved up in Classic Biathlon). 18 Macelifting and Bulavalifting world records were set.   Interviewing Jarek Kleina, IMF Pro macelifter, 15 kg category IMF: Hello Jarek, introduce yourself a little more, where do you live, where do you train? JK: Hello. My name is Jarosław Kleina. I live in Brodnica Górna, in Poland. I am a professional firefighter. I have been training strength sports for over a dozen years. I am also training at the gym and in the Piranha Gdynia club. IMF: How and when did you start training with a macebell? JK: I had my first contact with macebell 1.5 years ago. I went to Piranha Gdynia where Zbigniew Tyszka is the coach. He was the one who showed me what the macebell looks like and how to train with it. For real I started my journey in Macelifting in February 2021 under the watchful eye of Zbigniew.   Interview with Jörgen Lindqvist   Jörgen Lindqvist macelifter 10 kg macebell category (Sweden)   IMF: Hello Jörgen, introduce yourself a bit more, where do you live, where do you train?   JL: Hello! I live in Varberg on the west coast of Sweden. For a living, I’m a freelancing IT consultant in the software development area. While that is something I really enjoy, I also had the idea of starting a small gym for unconventional training. Well, then came more waves of the pandemic and increased workload on the IT side of my business, so the gym part hasn’t really kicked off yet.   Ewelina Kleina macelifter IMF Pro 10 kg macebell Category (Poland) IMF: Hello Ewelina, introduce yourself so that we get to know you better (where do you live, where do you train and who is your coach ?) EK: Welcome! My name is Ewelina Kleina. I live in small village of Brodnica Górna in Poland. I am an oligophrenopedagogue. Currently, I am raising three children. Sport is very important in my life, I spend actively every day.  I do step fitness, crossfit, interval training, zumba/dance latino, clubbwaving. Macelifting is one of my favorite activities. I have two coaches. The main coach is Zbigniew Tyszka and the other one is my husband Jarek. I usually train at home and sometimes at Piranha Gdynia. IMF: How and when did you start training with macebell? EK: My adventure with maceball started in March 2021. I was introduced to Macelifting through my husband, who was inspired by Zbigniew. I received my first 5kg maceball as a gift from Jarek for "Women's Day" and that
